Scotland-NI Interconnector

Project objectives:
Transmission Investment (TI) LirIC Limited is developing an up to 700MW High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) electricity interconnector project that will connect the GB and Irish (I-SEM) transmission networks, the “LirIC” Project.

TI sought fisheries support to the LirIC Project in the form of the provision of Fisheries Liaison Officers (FLO) (Company and Offshore) and Fishing Industry Representatives (FIRs).

Poseidon services provided:
Poseidon provided input to the team delivering commercial fisheries services, developing a Fisheries Liaison Plan (FLP) and a Fishing Activity Baseline Report for Scottish and Northern Ireland waters.
