Project objectives:
The CFCA organises operational coordination between Member States in the EU, including Joint Deployment Plans. The intention of these JDPs is to assist with uniform and effective compliance with the rules of Common Fisheries Policy.
Poseidon services provided:
This project provided an evaluation of 4 JDPs:
- cod in the Baltic
- bluefin tuna in the Mediterranean and East Atlantic
- cod in the North Sea and Western waters
- NAFO and NEAFC regulatory areas.
Poseidon provided expertise to an MRAG team of experts, with specific focus on issues of cost efficiencies in deployment activities.
