Project objectives:
The Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) is a leading organisation providing science and research support to development in the Arabian Gulf region. Established in 1967, it is now undergoing a full institutional evaluation to update its functional remit, operational approach and administration for the new challenges that face the region.

Poseidon provided a marine scientist to review the emerging research priorities in fisheries, aquaculture and marine sciences and to recommend a detailed research programme to address these identified issues
