This project will provide support for the organisation of seminars and conferences linked to the implementation of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP), in particular to the European Fisheries Fund (EFF) and the impact of IUU fishing policy on developing countries, as well as the implementation of EU Maritime Policy.
Poseidon services provided:
Poseidon is part of the winning consortium, and will lead on providing technical assistance for the preparation and implementation of conferences and seminars on subjects chosen by DG Mare. The aim of the seminars and conferences is to promote the exchange of experiences and best practice among concerned stakeholders and spread information about new policies and initiatives and their impact on those stakeholders. The conferences and seminars have also contributed to continued stakeholder dialogue in the implementation of these policies.
