Project objectives:
This fishery in the Skagerrak, Kattegat and Norwegian Deeps (‘Skagerrak/Norwegian Deeps’) is managed under a joint Norway-EU agreement and is undergoing assessment agaisnt the MSC fishereis certification principles and criteria. Management is based on survey and stock assessment modelling and the fishery is managed through a TAC. The gears used are demersal trawls, although different gear is used in the Norwegian EEZ and Fishery Protection Zone.

A Poseidon director is one of the three team members and will be responsible for Principle 2 (species and ecosystem impacts)
