Fishing Fleet Climate Readiness

Project objectives:
The primary purpose was to write a detailed technical (discussion and data analysis) report in relation to the ‘carbon performance’ and fleet readiness of existing and emerging climate action technologies, approaches and strategies, using (referencing) no more than eight (8) reference vessels as context for the discussion and conclusions. The findings of this study had to be relevant to fishing vessels, the main sea fishing segments and the entire Irish sea fishing fleet (covering local and national scales).

Poseidon services provided:
Poseidon, in association with Mabbett, worked with a representative reference fleet to create a baseline against which the impact of emission reduction technologies could be modelled.
