Project objectives:
This assignment provided for an update of the IUU Fishing Index, established in 2019 by Poseidon and the Global Initiative. All indicators were updated to allow for trends over 2019, 2021 and 2023 to be revealed. A report of the 2023 version of the Index was produced highlighting key changes in risk performance by countries, regions, and ocean basins.
