Project objectives:
Lyons Seafood and Bakkavor Foods funded a Fisheries Improvement Project (FIP) for the wild capture of red swamp crayfish in Jiangsu Province of China. Producing around 12,000 tonnes a year, this is an important wild fishery that complements the much larger aquaculture production of this species.
Poseidon services provided:
Two directors from Poseidon have assisted in this FIP through designing a detailed, costed Action Plan and are provided technical assistance and review to its subsequent implementation.
