Poseidon provided a number of staff to help FAO prepare for, present background papers at, and facilitate/run an expert workshop held in Rome. The workshop considered levels of IUU fishing globally, and discussed and made recommendations about appropriate methodologies for estimating global levels of IUU. Recommendations were also made as to appropriate project arrangements for future work to develop such global estimates.
