Project objectives:
The purpose of this assignment is to provide Technical Assistance to the CRFM, as the main beneficiary and thereby national fisheries administrations, in developing a successful and co-ordinated strategic response to the growing problem of illegal, unregulated and unreported fishing in the region.
Poseidon services provided:
Poseidon consultants updated the CRFM MCS study (2005) using a participatory approach involving stakeholders through selected country visits, remote consultations with other countries and one Regional Validation Workshop.
