Project objectives:
Poseidon provided template best practice examples and facilitated a workshop process in the design of a tropical shrimp trawl management plan for Kerala, India.
The plan's focus is on strengthening stock assessment processes and linkages to Harvest control strategies and tools, ecosystem management, development of economic and social incentives and governance processes. the end result is a cohesive management plan designed collectively with multiple stakeholder participation.
