Project objectives:
The car carrier Hual Europe was driven ashore by a typhoon in Japan.
Poseidon services provided:
A joint report with ITOPF was prepared that provided a detail assessment of the recovery of the habitats and benthos following the ships grounding and subsequent partial destruction by fire. Based on this, a prognosis for future fisheries productivity was made, together with assessments of the timescale for recovery. With Homarus Ltd.
