Project objectives:
This study assessed the current approaches to biodiversity conservation action planning and review their success in protecting species and habitat assets from development and other threats.
Poseidon services provided:
The study examined the merits of embedding this traditional approach in a more holistic regional planning framework that might widen the interests and partnerships in precautionary coastal and marine resource management and conservation. The South-East of England was used as a case study.
