Assessment of Wind Farm Development at Scarweather Sands

Project objectives:
Poseidon participated in a study to assess the likely impacts of a large wind farm develop on Scarweather Sands in south Wales.

Poseidon services provided:
Poseidon assessed fishing activities within the Scarweather Sands wind farm development area in order to assess the potential impacts of construction and operation of the turbine array. The study assessed the likely displacement impacts the project would have, and recommended appropriate management approaches for mitigation. A wide-scale consultation programme was prepared.
