Project objectives:
Poseidon provided the fishery value chain expert and financial analyst for design and planning programme covering artisanal fisheries in all 8 coastal provinces of Mozambique.
The work relates to the promotion of a fresh and dried fish value chain and includes identifying investment needs, evaluating capital cost options (ice and transport systems), and designing appropriate business development needs.
