Marine Fisheries Masterplan for Re Development post Tsunami – Aceh

Project objectives:
The study was divided into a number of components:

Initial fact-finding and data collection on current state of the marine fisheries sector,

Undertaking a value chain analysis;

Developing up a pilot project that could serve as a demonstration effect for future donor, public and private sector up-scaling or replication (funding of pilot to be considered through PEP-Aceh sources);

Recommending the roles and responsibilities of the various key stakeholders for any future master plan implementation (i.e. public sector versus private sector tasks);

Developing strategies/methodologies for addressing identified problems and obstacles through the A2F program
