TransFORM project supervision

Project objectives:
The World Bank-financed Transforming Fisheries Sector Management in South-West Indian Ocean Region and Maldives Project (TransFORM) was designed to improve fisheries management arrangements in The Maldives and the region more widely, and support enhanced private sector sector development in the Maldives through a matching grant programme.

Poseidon services provided:
Poseidon staff contributed to a series of implementation support missions which included a restructuring of the project, assessment of project progress and implementation challenges, and working with project implementation and Ministry staff to guide project implementation to ensure the project outcomes were met.
