Support to the sustainable development of the fisheries sector

Project Dates: December 2004 - March 2005

Project objectives:
Appraisal of the EC’s National Indicative Programme (NIP) for development of Yemen’s fisheries sector over 2005-2006.

Poseidon services provided:
Consultative investigation into the sector’s development needs in order to prepare a detailed project proposal and financing requirements. A key factor in project design is the Ministry of Fish Wealth’s governance ability and strengthening private sector and coastal community capacity for sustainable management. Project conducted in association with HTSPE Ltd.
