Project objectives:
Poseidon prepared a regional report on tuna in the West Indian Ocean, and completed ex ante evaluations of possible Fisheries Partnership Agreements between the EU and Tanzania and Kenya. These evaluations involved assessment of all management and stock assessment issues, and of the potential use of FPAs by EU vessels, and the resulting benefits to both the EU and the partner countries.
